Meet the Inkthreadable team - Lyndsey

Lyndsey editShe’s the baby of the Inkthreadable family! Metaphorically the baby anyway, because she has her own babies too – and a baby having babies is a pretty strange thought best left well alone in the deep recesses of your imagination.

But we’re here to talk about Lyndsey, who diligently works alongside Amy and Alex with customer services, accounts and order processing. We’ve already saved a small fortune on those little plug-in air-fresheners since Lyndsey started because her sweet, enveloping perfume manages to fight back even the most questionable dog-related smells. Aces.

We’ve asked Lydsey some questions to help you get to knew her a little better, and she answered them because apparently she didn’t have anything better to do with her time than entertain our silly request.

What was your most embarrassing moment?

Probably slipping off the side of Helvellyn in the snow and landing flat on my face. I’d told a little white lie and said I was a climbing expert and my spectacular dismount told everyone I hadn’t been very honest with them!

What is your favourite childhood memory?

Visiting my grandparents in their holiday cottage in Whitby.

What is your favourite place? And your least favourite?

My favourite place has to be Paris – it’s just so lush! Without a doubt Tenerife is my least favourite place; I worked there as a holiday rep and the excitement soon collapsed into the realisation that it’s a dirty, common hole full of drunken louts.

What is the best advice ever given to you?

My mum always used to say, “If in doubt, do nowt”. It’s probably not the best advice in the world, but sometimes doing nothing is exactly what you should be doing.

What is your favourite guilty pleasure?

Getting cuddled up in bed with some sweets and a bottle of wine to watch Game of Thrones. The guilty pleasure bit is having a secret crush on Peter Dinklage.

How do you spend your free time?

Shop. Eat. Sleep. Repeat.

If you could witness any event of the past, present or future what would it be and why?

The whole of the 60’s, if that counts as an event. It was a decade of change for women throughout the UK and US, but more importantly the fashion back then was just fab!

What is your favourite Inkthreadable product and why?

It has to be the t-shirts for me; we can print any design on to loads of different styles and colours, which means we can make them super girly – and that’s perfect for me.
