Etsy Integration - Updates

11th April - 12:37 - RESOLVED: Linked Products and Product Exporting Functional As Normal

Our developers have updated the app to ensure that your linked products are visible and correct.

If you previously experienced issues with additional variants showing, please rest assured this has been resolved, and your products will be 100% linked again.

We have also updated the website to ensure that products can be exported to your Etsy stores.

Before exporting a new product, you may be asked to re-authorise your Etsy app. This is to apply the updates to your app and will ensure that new products can be exported again.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we've worked on resolving the problems that came up with the latest Etsy API update.

We're investigating the cause of all issues to ensure this can be prevented with any future updates to our integrations.

6th April - 11:00 - RESOLVED: New Orders Imported Successfully and Product Exporting

We have successfully restored the Etsy integration, and new orders are importing as usual.

Any missed orders from yesterday (Wednesday, 6th April) have been imported to your accounts.

Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

Following a fix this morning, new products can also be exported to your stores again. However, if you are a new store, you may be required to add a shipping template to your Etsy store before uploading new products. Learn more.

We're aware of an outstanding issue affecting the visibility of your linked products which we're working to resolve with Etsy, we'll keep you updated.

5th April - 15:30 - New Orders Not Received

We are aware of an issue affecting Etsy orders, and we may not have received your Etsy orders placed after midday today (Wednesday, 5th April).

We're working hard to resolve this issue imminently and will import any orders received after this time as soon as possible.

We'll keep you updated on our progress, and we're truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by the ongoing technical issue.

Thanks for your patience!

3rd April - 15:00 - Errors Exporting New Products

Unfortunately, products cannot be exported to Etsy due to technical difficulties.

We're working on getting the integration back to its usual performance as quickly as possible, and we're sorry for any inconvenience this may cause in the meantime.

3rd April - 12:00 - Linking Existing Etsy Products

We're aware of a problem with the Etsy integration displaying additional variants on your products, causing them to appear as less than 100% linked.

Please rest assured that all your available product variants are still linked, and orders should be received normally.

Our developers are working diligently to resolve this issue. We will share another update as soon as this is resolved.

2nd April - 15:45 - Orders with International Addresses

We're aware of an issue causing orders with International shipping addresses in Etsy having UK shipping methods applied on the Inkthreadable order.
We continue to work on resolving this.

2nd April - 15:00 - Issues Fixed & Action Required from Merchants

All systems related to Inkthreadable's Etsy integration are now working as normal, including Publishing Products and Receiving Orders.

Following our updates to Etsy's most recent API version, re-authorisation from your store to Inkthreadable will be required to publish new products. Next time you publish a product, you will see the prompt shown below to quickly and easily complete the autorisation.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst our teams have been resolving these issues. We apologise for the inconvenience that they have caused you.

1st April - 20:30

Over the past 24 hours, we have been deploying updates to our Etsy integration to utilise Etsy’s most recent API versions and keep the integration at optimal performance.

During this time, there have been a number of issues that have arisen with this update causing inconvenience to yourselves and your businesses.

From approximately 6pm on Friday, we temporarily stopped receiving orders via Etsy whilst the updates began being deployed.

Due to technical difficulties, this has become an extended period which is still ongoing.

At around 7pm today (Saturday), we began importing orders from Etsy that were made during the aforementioned period, however due to an error, a large amount of historic orders from Merchant’s Etsy stores have been imported to Inkthreadable as new orders.

We are working back on this error to ensure that these historic orders are identified and deleted from our systems as soon as possible.

For merchant’s which have a credit balance on their account, these orders may have automatically been paid for via your Credits.

These amounts will be refunded in full before 8am on Monday to ensure they are not produced when our production facility reopens.

I understand the gravity of this situation and how it’s impacting your businesses.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience that these issues are causing and will keep you updated as the problems are resolved via our blog and the Inkthreadable Hub.

Throughout the next week, we will investigate the cause of these issues in detail with our technology partners and make necessary changes to ensure this cannot repeat in the future.

Thank you for your patience and understanding whilst we work to resolve this.
