What does it cost to use Inkthreadable's print on demand API?
The API is free to use and there's no setup fee. You pay the product cost when a sale comes through to our system, and Inkthreadable prints and ships it from there. Growing volume earns you a better rate through reward pricing.
Do I need a developer to use the API?
Building directly against Inkthreadable's print API needs someone who can make HTTP requests. If that's not you, the same fulfilment runs through our e-commerce platform integrations, including Shopify, WooCommerce and Etsy, or through a CSV upload.
What formats does the API accept?
Inkthreadable's API takes JSON or XML, and answers in whichever format you sent. Orders reference products by part number and designs by URL, so there are no file uploads to manage.
How long does an order take to print and ship?
Production takes three to five working days, then the order ships. Shipping is set per order as regular, recorded or courier, and shipping times can vary depending on method & destination.
Can I put my own branding on the products?
Yes. Pass a label object with the order and Inkthreadable prints your own neck label onto the garment, and you can add custom packaging inserts. Everything arrives looking like it came from you.
